Recently, we had the pleasure of styling Lisa Smith, the Co-founder of PR Net, a network of entrepreneurs, publicists, marketers, and media in various lifestyle industries. Read on below to find out where she’s originally from, how she describes the pace of her day-to-day life, and what fashion brands she can’t live without.
Name: Lisa Smith
Where are you from: Auckland, New Zealand originally, but have been living overseas since 2000.
Where do you live: West Village, NYC.
Occupation: Co-founder of The PR Net, a member network of entrepreneurs, publicists, marketers and media in the lifestyle industries.
Marital status: Married.
Personal style: Fairly classic, but my ideal style would be luxe bohemian – doesn’t necessarily translate in NYC though with our seasons and the general ‘concrete jungle’ environment.
What adjective would you use to best describe you:
Currently, I’d say ‘focused’ is the word. I’m in the midst of an incredibly busy period with work, buying/planning renovations of a house, plus being mama to a 1 year old, so ‘focused’ describes me well right now, ha.
Name your favorite designers:
Clothing: Iro, Ulla Johnson, Self Portrait, Zimmermann, Chloe, AYR
Shoes: Aquazzura, Isa Tapia, Bill Blass, Alaia
Handbags: Mansur Gavriel, State of Escape
Jewelry: Anna Sheffield
Do you have an upcoming event you would like for us to focus on for the shoot?
We have so many events coming up – some that are confirmed include a panel discussion about art & design (June 13); event on the rooftop of the new 1 Hotel Brooklyn Bridge (June 28); MADE Hotel opening around its launch next month.
