Winter Floral Prints

While florals are usually associated with spring and summer, the resort/holiday season has brought us darker, moodier floral prints to bring a nice dose of femininity to our winter wardrobes. And we couldn’t be bigger fans. From romantic rose patterns to vintage inspired prints, there’s something for every lady looking to add a pop of color and dimension to her everyday wear.

So what’s the best way to wear a floral piece? We recommend choosing a blouse like this one by MSGM. It’s dark background with a colorful assortment of orange and blue blooms makes it such a versatile item that can be dressed up or down and as a layering piece. In this look, we kept the top the focal point and paired it with a pair of skinny jeans and blue pumps to make the blue palette pop. And we completed everything with a blazer and clutch to add a bit of sophistication.

Michael’s Styling Tip: When wearing floral in the winter, it’s important to not go overboard with the bright springy colors. This dark floral top is perfect for winter and we paired it back with a dark/cool color palette to keep this look winter appropriate.
