Meet the Top 10 Trends for Spring

  1. Denim. Each season, this beloved wardrobe staple gets reinvented. And the spring offers it up in every shape and form: denim handbags, distressed denim jackets, acid wash denim (yes, it’s back!), patchwork denim pants, dark denim suiting–truly everything! The best part? Pairing denim together is a huge trend, so be sure play with your favorite pieces.
  2. Plaid. We couldn’t be more excited to report that plaid has gotten a much-needed update. This season, the classic print was made brand new with whimsical, ultra-feminine color palettes and silhouettes. Everything from micro-plaid to macro-plaid is making us want to wear it from head to toe.
  3. Embellishment. Spring certainly feels like a party with all of the gorgeous, glam embellished pieces we’re seeing. From metallic gowns with puff sleeves to shimmering jumpsuits to jackets dripping with fringe and tassels, there is a way for all of us to be playful and make a dazzling statement. The best embellishment to invest in? Fringe.
  4. Utility. Speaking of embellishments, this classic coat has gotten a bold update. While you can still find it in basic form, this season gives us the opportunity to play with feathers, ruching, ruffles, sequins, and elements of deconstruction–all in the name of fun spring outerwear.
  5. Lavender. Say hello to spring’s “it” color. This gorgeous pastel is having a major moment and has colored silhouettes and luxe textures galore. Through ethereal dresses, flashy metallics, knitwear, florals, accessories and more, there is a way to bring a sweet dose of lavender into your wardrobe.
  6. City Chic. Another element that’s dominated the runway is a combination of urban and edgy. We’re seeing graphic tees paired with skirts, track pants paired with pumps, relaxed fit denim and bold colors, and moto jackets galore. Overall, it has a feminine, streetwear vibe that feels effortless.
  7. Athleisure. Workout attire has gotten a high-fashion makeover. From edgy and embellished tracksuits to bold parkas and windbreakers to skinny leg track pants paired with body suits, there’s no doubt you’ll feel motivated and fashionable in your next class. You have the freedom to go with a sporty shoe or to dress things up with a high heel.
  8. Pastels. With lavender as this season’s “it” color, it should come as no surprise that pastels are also all the rage. Pink is of course still relevant and accessible in a variety of shades with pretty embellishments an accents too. Pink and red together is a huge trend as well. And yellow is having a moment in the spotlight too.
  9. Florals. Spring wouldn’t be spring without floral prints. While there hasn’t been a major upgrade to this classic print, this season’s blooms are bigger and bolder than ever. From vintage and retro-inspired prints to a country or a tropical vibe, it’s totally acceptable to wear florals from head to toe (don’t worry, we’ll show you how).
  10. The Blouse. If there’s one silhouette that’s been reimagined this spring, it’s the blouse. From puffed sleeves to square necklines to cutouts, this is the season to play with tops with some personality.
