Pretty in Pastel

If there’s one element of spring fashion we’re loving most, it’s the pastel color palette. Shades of sorbet have become the new “neutrals” and are truly the must-haves of the season. While this certainly isn’t groundbreaking, what makes this trend different is the head-to-toe pastel looks that can be worn for every occasion–whether that’s out for cocktails or to your favorite workout class. From pant suits to ruffled dresses to pastel prints, there is something fresh and feminine for every woman to add to her wardrobe.

Since yellow is one of the current “it” colors, we decided to pull together the perfect yellow look. The obvious statement piece of this outfit is the bell-sleeve blouse. The cropped length makes it great for pairing with a skirt like this one by Petersyn. It’s fun, flirty, and a flattering shape. Plus, we love the subtle floral detailing which screams spring. To complete the look with chose a neutral shoe with a touch of shimmer and pretty rose gold handbag. Such a great look for a dressy brunch or bridal shower.

Michael’s Styling Tip: When wearing a pastel top, we suggest pairing it back to a fun pattern to add more dimension and personality to the look. Fun bold accessoires add a bit of playfulness too which is perfect for spring.
